Wishful Thinking for 2012

I was doing my usual hobby or in other words my new hobby for this Christmas break (looking through other people's Facebook profiles and blogs) and I realized I wanted some new things for 2012. I call Wishful Thinking because of the fact that I might not get these things that I want haha.

So, I present to you Gianne's Wishful Thinking List for 2012:
1. An iPhone 4S - It's the first one on my Wishful Thinking List because I've seen its features on television and man it looked so awesome.
2. A pair of DMs - I've seen models/bloggers wear these with dresses and shorts. Definitely want one.
3. A Fujifilm Instax - I didn't know how amazing the pictures looked until I saw photos from Patricia Prieto and Saab Magalona's blog
4. An iPod Nano - this is probably the coolest one among all the iPods. It can turn into a radio and a watch. AMAZING!
That's about it. But, I'm not getting my hopes up for these things. I'll probably just pray for them. "Hulog na Langit" to be exact. Haha. To anyone who wants to give me these things.. DON'T BE SHY. Haha kidding. :)

Little Miss Organized

I was looking through other blogs when I found a blog from Tumblr called Little Miss Ogranized. I think she just started blogging and she's in college too. So, I checked out her blog and she had pretty cool ideas to get organized.

Here are some photos from her blog:

Use strings and laundry clips for hanging your hats
Use Styrofoam cut-outs to organize your make-up
Use tags from bread wrappers or meat plastics from groceries to label the plugs on your power strip
Put binder clips on the edge of your desk or shelf to hold the ends of your USB cords or chargers
Use containers for salt and pepper to stack your glitter and beads
Use cardboard tubes to organize your pens and other whatnot
Cut out old address books and turn them into a pen holder
Use curtain rods to hang up your necklaces
Break the screen of an old television and put your books in it
I'll update her blog and post more of it here. But, you can also check it out for yourself on http://littlemissorganized.tumblr.com

See ya!

17th on the 23rd

NOTE: This post is dedicated to my awesome cousin who just had her birthday last Friday. :)

It was my first time to finish the 9-day novena mass after my 16 years of living and I swear it felt great. After the Dawn Mass, my whole family had breakfast at Jollibee. It's a sad fact but I hate Jollibee so much but the food was still worth it. I didn't realize how yummy their ice cream was until that day (I've always been a Mcdo lover haha).

L-R: Alexis, Jill, Jaja, Sam and Nikka
Jollibee joined in to get a picture with the birthday girl.. and so did Yum haha

Right before the food arrived, we saw this vintage Volvo parked right outside Jollibee. It was too awesome I just had to take a picture of it <3

Jill and Nikka goofed off on the Drive Thru outside Jollibee

After having breakfast, we stopped by Fuente to drop off some goods for the victims of Sendong

This is us getting a picture with ABS-CBN host, Leo Lastimosa
We spent the rest of the day sleeping and eating. After all those shindigs we did, we went to Robinsons Cybergate to watch the Wonggoys (I'll blog about them later on) but unfortunately, it was cancelled at the last minute huhuhu.

I hope you guys had fun because I sure did. ;)

xx,
Gianne

What I Want For Christmas

I got bored so I decided to visit Saab Magalona's blog and then I fell in love with her latest post!:) It was a FILED organizer. Each page was doodled by students from Ateneo de Manila. The organizer has a free "bandolier" for your pens and only costs for Php 545. I went to their website http://www.filed.com.ph/main/ and took a sneak peek of the planner. It was too awesome I just had to get one this weekend before it runs out. Luckily, we have Fully Booked here in Cebu. Definitely getting one for myself this Christmas!

Here are pics of the planner from Saab Magalona's blog:

The black thing covered around the organizer is actually the bandolier

I fell in love with this page haha
AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH I'M SO GETTING MYSELF THIS AND SOME STUFF FROM MAC. :)
Thanks, Saab!

Happy Holidays! :)

EXAMS EXAMS

Until now I never really understood why students have to take Periodical Exams. I mean, seriously, it just makes us cram and even forget about all the shindig we learned in school. God. First day of our Third Grading exam starts tomorrow and I'm so bored that I'm writing this blog. I don't get why it's so important to learn about these things when you it won't even be your major in college. Sucks. It just sucks. :( Well, good night and I'll see you on Tuesday (next week). No blogging until exams are over!

I SMELL CHRISTMAS! :D

ROCKET CONTOUR

Okaaaaay, here we go again. Sadly, the last post I made about my friend's clothing was actually an epic fail moment for me. When I told them about the blog, they said that the clothing line didn't really exist anymore. And so out of boredom from studying for the exams this week (AGAIN), I decided to make another blog about the same people but with a different clothing line.

Rocket Contour is a Cebu-based clothing line by some of the youngest designers in Cebu. Their motto is "ROCKET CONTOUR: Where Imagination meets Art". They've sold around hundreds (I think) of shirts around Cebu. 2 of the designers in this clothing line are actually my friends, Jose and Rey (still proud of you, guys). The name Rocket Contour is named after the man himself, Rey Cabasag. Just like the Solid Outline shirts, he's forced me to buy one of their shirts but I'm always bankrupt because of the yummy food in our school canteen haha.

So, here's their logo and some of the shirts that are available today:

Map is for Cebu-based people only. :)
They're having a Christmas Sale right now. And by Sale, I mean they're selling their shirts for Php 380-Php 360. You can check out their Facebook page and Email them of you feel like getting their shirts.

SOLID OUTLINE

I got bored studying for the periodical exams this coming Thursday so I decided to write a blog about my guy friends' clothing line. :) You guys better thank me for this. Haha.

I met these guys when I was in Third Year High School and now they act as if they're the brothers I never had. These guys never fail to make me laugh, smile and cry whenever they're around (awwwwe ew haha).
L-R: Holden, Neil, Earl, Carlo, James, Ed and Paolo
This picture was from my birthday last August and I forgot to get a picture with the man himself, Rey Cabasag. Rey is actually the "owner" (I think) of Solid Outline, that's they're clothing line by the way. He's forced me a lot of times to get a shirt but I don't have time to save money for it haha.

Here's a picture of their logo and one of the shirts that they're selling.

I plan on getting their shirt sometime this month so you should too! :) You can go to their Facebook page and just ask them random stuffs about how to get their shirts.

What I Did Yesterday

Yesterday was a Saturday and when I woke up, the rain was hard. REALLY HARD. I didn't know what to wear because of the weather. So, I decided to wear the ATL shirt that I made last summer. ( I don't have a clear picture of it so blah). Because of the cold, cold weather, the water was cold too. I had to wrap myself with 2 towels after taking a shower because it was really freakin' cold. I went to a coffee shop right across our school to make an ISP (Investigatory Science Project). My groupmates and some classmates came to help out.
L-R: Raizah, Kate, Angelou and Jella
The WiFi in the coffee shop was absolutely not good so we watched this old movie called Flipped. The guy was as handsome as an Olympian god. Right after the ISP making (which did not happen), we ate lunch at KFC. After eating, Jella and I took a cab and I went to JY Square 'cause that's where Bea and I were supposed to meet.
Meet Bea. She's been one of my bestfriends since I was in First Year High School and we're going to take up Dentistry together.
We went to Beverly Hills to practice for the Christmas Party for BLD (Bukas Luob sa Diyos) which is actually happening right now at Sibonga, Cebu. I joined in the practices even though I wasn't a member of BLD haha. I had a lot of fun with the people there 'cause they were themselves and I met a lot of new friends, of course.
This is the Youth group. Find Bea. :)
After the practices, Bea and I walked from Beverly Hills to Beverly Glen to go to our friend's house for her birthday party. We got there around 5:10 PM and no one was there yet. Alex walked around the village to put post its on the walls and wherever for the scavenger hunt we had later that night. People started arriving at around 6:00 PM and then the fun started. Before dinner was the scavenger hunt. Everyone was running and screaming around the village. When we were able to find all the post its, we had trivia questions about Alex. I was mind-blown about the fact that she was actually interested in chess. After the trivia, dinner was served. The food was absolutely yummy. Alex's parents are bakers so they got her a Pizza Cake and little cupcakes around it.
The cupcakes tasted awesome.
After dinner and the cupcake fight, we walked around the village to burn the fats we made after eating. When we looked up in the sky, we noticed that the moon was covered in a weird black thing then people said that it was a lunar eclipse. We gathered around the clubhouse and shared the horror stories amd I cried after one of my classmates shared about the white lady in our school corridor (I will forever hate ghost stories). Mom and Dad picked up Bea and I at 10:30 PM and we dropped Bea off at her house. To be honest, it was the best Saturday of December.
Happy Birthday, Alexandra Ricci Munoz. :*

First

Hello there. First timer in blogging here. Let me just tell you, whoever you are, that before blogging got into my mind, I was into writing. Writing as in, doodling random stuff on a piece of paper or in a page of a book or notebook. I got inspired to make a blog because of Saab Magalona. My cousin showed me her blog 4 months ago and I swear it was AMAZING. I kept updating myself with her style because I love how she dresses up. So, yeah. Before blogging, I had a small purple journal.
I got this journal at National Bookstore for only 200 pesos. So sulit because it has a pocket at the back and you can tie it like journals from olden times. The pin is actually a consolation prize I got from Artwork. It was their 5th Annual Tshirt Design Competition last month.
Here's a page from my journal. Pardon my language but may I just remind you that I sometimes curse people silently in my head. But what better way to think about it than to write it, right?

I've had this journal since August and I've placed a lot of stuff in it. Like schedules, To Do lists, picture, quotes and other kinds of random things that random people put in a random purple notebook.

I'm gonna end here 'cause it's already 11:41 PM and I have to go out the whole day tomorrow. Enjoy your night! :)
